Mission Statement

To promote emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, and physical development of each child by providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Philosophy

We believe parents and teachers should work together to bridge the gap between home and school.  Open communication is encouraged at all times.  Mutual sharing of information and insights between parents and staff is encouraged. SPUMPS offers Parent-Teacher Conferences once a year.  The better we know your child, the more your child will benefit. Teachers are happy to meet and discuss your child’s progress with a scheduled an appointment. A copy of the Child Care Center Regulations are available in the SPUMPS Office.

The preschool center has a two year program for three and four year old children. Children are eligible for acceptance into the program when their third birthday occurs on or before September 1 of the academic year. Only children who have completed our 4 year old program are eligible to participate in graduation.
